Right Ascension: 5.76 hours
Declination: 70.27 degrees
  Camelopardalis, the giraffe, can be found between Perseus, Auriga and Lynx, the hind quarters are in the Mily Way.

The constellation first appeared in 1614, it was published by Bartschius in outline form only, he wrote that it represented the Camel that brought Rebecca to Issac. Proctor attempted to change its name to Camelus and it appeard that way by Mr. J. Ellard Gore in 1894 in his translation of Flammrion's Astronomie Popularie.
